Ok, did you ask if the fault would be covered under warranty, before any work was carried out? Did they say yes? Did you ask if there would be a charge? Did they say no?

If the answer to all the above is yes and you still got a bill, why did you pay it? What did they say the charge was for?

At a subaru garage.

In that case it depends on the actual faults as mentioned before. If the faulty item is classed as an everyday wear-and-tear item then it will not be covered by the warranty.

Surely you asked about costs / warranty before leaving your car with them? Did you ask / tell them to put it through warranty?

I think youll find the garage you bought the car from would have lubed the brakes for free seeing as you bought it there 7 weeks ago. Any other garage will treat your car as a warranty car and brakes will not be covered and a charge will be made.

If you have any other problems anytime soon, make sure you take it back to the dealer you bought it from. They will probably but them right at no charge, as long as its within a reasonable time.

The golden oldie joke was:
Q: Did you hear about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac?
A: He used to lie awake at night wondering if there was a dog.

Seen on a bathroom wall: Dyslexics of the world untie!!

Q: Did you hear about the dyslexic Satanist?
A: He sold his soul to Santa.

PS. If you don't have a sense of humor then you probably won't have gotten this far

True. It has recently been hypothesised that this inabilty is more of a socio-emotional construct than a genetic deficiency, and that dyslexia as a condition doesn't exist. In other words it is born out of an emotionally dysfunctional association to the pressure of having to spell or add correctly and the time therein to do it. In other words the person's stupidity in early years has scarred their cognitive processes thereafter by association. No excuse. People that claim they are dyslexic are just thick. Put it this way do you know ANYONE who claims dyslexia but actually seems intelligent apart from that, and has alot of commonsense - neither do i!
One guy i know who is my age -30, freqeuntly can't tell his left from his right. Are you telling me he can't learn this one easy thing because of dyslexia? All he has to do is think right is the hand i write with, but he can't even do that. How many other Volvo estate drivers do you know with 12 points and a conditional discharge!!!

A girl I once had to train for work couldn't tell her left from right unless she held both hands up, fingers together, palms out with her thumbs perpindicular. Then she'd look at both hands and see which thumb formed an 'L' shape... Proof that she wasn't dexlyric, just feckin thick
