If its a 1995 built car then its almost certainly an STI Type-RA, which was retro-converted from a production Type-RA. The AMN can be found on the build plate on the near side inner wing.

Yes it will; think about it. It will tell us whether its an STI 2 or not for definate. If its an altered-production car then the WRX Typre-RA AMN along with the difficult to miss roof vent will lead us to that conclusion.

yeah i think you're the one that needs to know the question. RAs were different power outputs than their parent model. STI RAs never came with less than 270PS for example.
What you're saying is a gross simplification even by your standards.

i'm not starting this again - if you and your mates persist on running your cars on pikey 95RON with tuolene then don't come crying to us when it makes less power than you expected

If its an altered-production STI Type-RA which will have a normal WRX Type-RA Applied Model Number (GC8C47D); or a series production STI2 Type-RA (GC8C4DD): then it produced 275PS ((271bhp) on Japanese premium unleaded fuel), when it was new, according to Subaru.

No I wanted to know what my car had as std... Its a point of interest.
As for calling me a knobend, you do you think you are? Someone special? go Fu_Ck yourself ok
If I really wanted to know what my engine currently puts out, I'd get it dyno'd.
