So PPP would be ok then, but you with the re-maps and ect it would be OFF with your heads. How can you be a boy racer if your over 40 and no points.

Some joker was on the radio claiming that having tinted windows obscures your view... ie. you can't see IN. Hmmm... so who's that benefiting? All these measures are intended to save lives on Irish roads. So are they going to improve the state of the crappy roads which appears to me to be a high cause of deaths? I doubt it. They'll just come along with a bit more loose grit to fill in yet another pothole.
I don't think this new NCT legislation will seriously change ANYTHING. Look what happens now if you want to pass your NCT and have a straight-through exhaust.... you temporarily fit a cat to pass the emissions part of the test, get your cert and disc and then whip the cat back out. It'll be the same principle for loud exhausts, it just means sales of standard backboxes might rise. Whoopeedoo.
