Best player of his ilk the Premiership has seen. A football Legend. Sad how he has left but he will be remembered for all the Trophies he lifted in his 12 years.
And this is from someone from Leeds!!!!!

Good. Man Utd might get relegated next season now, with Fergie going senile and the rest of the team being prawn-sarnie eating ponces.

he,d be banned and prolly locked up....half there trouble is the media, and the fact they belive they are so superb... give me his wages, and i,d run round the pitch fouling people with absolute ease...

what annoys me so much is they are paid to do a relativly simple job. ie kick and controll a ball beat the other players and put the ball in the net.

yet we get tantrums, swearing , spitting and acting that would frankly get an oscar from some people. then we get the off pitch antics, again it hardly enamours people to there cause..

and YOU thank god not I, pay them to do it...

look at jonny wilkinson, all he has to do is kick a ball, and get it through two posts, when he was put on the spot, when it mattered he did it with ease.

and we dont get him plastered accros the front page of the tabloids every time he has a bad day with the public.

you obviously have no idea of the skill involved. if it was so easy then why are you not picking up 100K a week.

Mart, you have obviously never watched or played Sunday league football because there's far less protection there! The ref's are too scared to go dishing out the cards.

Most football fans, Man United ones apart, will say that they didn't like Keane as a person and didn't like the way he played and behaved at times, but anyone with any knowledge of the game would have admired his ability.

Mart360 he is a class act, admittedly so not as good as he was. A player like Keane was not just on the pitch for his footballing ability but also his ability to raise other players game and motivate his team at the time of need. Thats what good captains do. And also Attitude reflects leadership! You obviously dont know what it takes to be a professional sportsman and to get to the top!

Gav..

P.S- I do agree that the wages are a little ott

People go on calling Keane a thug etc and yes he has that side to him but so do a lot of great players.... and not just in football. don't tell me Martin Johnson is a saint. He had that dirty side to his game as well. the fact is in sport when you go head to head with somebody if you can intimidate them and gain that psychological edge over them then half the battle is won.

If i'm right Mart360 always slates PS Lewis, but i think he secretly wants to take his mantle with daft statements like the above.

Suggestion for you, get yourself 2 footballs and a traffic cone, balance one ball on the cone and from 15yds see if you can kick it of using the other ball Mr Diego Johan Pele Basten. As thats all they have to do, is kick a ball. onder2: [and i bet ponder still doesn't work]

Lol so speaks the person who has probably never played football in their entire life. Did you watch Real vs Barcelona last night - let me see you posess 1% of the skill of Ronaldinho and youd be doing well.

Simon.

Let's get this little bit straight. Keane set out to cripple Alfie Haarland because the year before one of Keanes 'tackles' on Alfie went wrong and he ended up crippling himself

He was an arrogant thug at Forest, and he'll be an arrogant thug at whichever Scottish Conference side he ends up with

I notice nobody has asked Mick McCarthy what he thinks of Keane leaving
