Many years ago, I had a MKII Escort, with all the loud bull****, spoilers and wide tyres.
I was 17 and thought it was the dogs.
Heading to college one fine but wet morning, overtook a truck, went round corner - and carried on cornering 810 degrees!! Ended up reversed into high roadside!Thankfully no damage other than pride-the guy in the truck was grinning like a maniac when he passed!
Taught me a valuable lesson early on, shame everyone can't have the same thing ie pooey pants, but no harm done, it's the best educator!

Had some bloke in a 55 plate Fiesta decide to pull out in front of me on Friday when I was in my works van, with the road being icey I slammed the brakes and slid into the side of him, The thing that p1ssed me off is that he didnt even stop at the junction, he decided he could beat me, then changed his mind and stopped in the middle of the road.
He knew he was in the wrong straight away, and said that the sun was in his eyes. Lucky there was no damage to my van and I didnt take his insurance details, Hopefully it taut him a lesson.

Just this morning I was driving at about 7.15 (pretty dam cold!) when some guy in a Mk 2 gold decides to come flying up behind me and drive about 2 inches off the Pratt Magnet!
For a start what exactly is the point? In what world would his car be quicker than my Type R? What is he trying to prove apart fromt he fact he is a moron! Also it was quite slippy this morning and it was bloody dangerous!
My car has been of the road enough with 2 engine failures and I dont want it to be off again because someone decides to park in my boot
But generally poeple dont seem to slow down this time of year, another wierd thing is that alot of them seem to be golf drivers
Are VW selling their cars with some sort of 'Drive like a loon in poor conditions' licence?
Anyway rant over, my point is just that I wish people would just slow down a little bit before someone gets run over.
