I agree with RIP, its Karma, however for you I feel it's past life stuff and you are going to have to get many slaps to learn your lesson eg:

First you offend Chav - get smack in mouth

What goes around most certainly comes around - and that my friend is karma, when you learn it will go away and you will move on....and what was I saying about the fear of crime and actual likelihood of crime on another thread...the old fear crime but it rarely happens, the young have no fear and generally are involved in crime on the street....learn from this and move on....

You hit chav harder - he will hit you even harder, the more aggression you show the more you will get back...it just works that way...hit him really hard and you might need another lifetime to learn...

Buy him a pint next time you are out and have done with it...you never know the 2 of you might have more in common than you think. Read the Path of the Peaceful Warrior, a book that will explain all this and more.

Forget all this Karma crap anyway.. At the end of the day it is a free country (at the moment) and you are entitled to say what you wish, when you wish.. Methinks you need to learn to read these situations and react accordingly..If they think they can beat you they will try, so you either need to be a very good actor or be able to fight.. Ive been confronted in many similar situations..Ive learnt that the best defense is a good strong offence..Not in all cases though.. If you know they are about to attack then just smack the sh*t outta them very quickly..if the rest of the group sees this they usually back off..(hopefully anyway) There are the odd few mental cases about though..Be careful out there people

What baffles me is why any one would take a slap on a night out, not retaliate and then report the whole sorry thing on a public forum full of men's men. FFS why? nope, not really. I choked a guy half to death the other week but didnt come report back because I dont really care your personal view on me. Alls I wanted to know is how to cure my swollen lip. If i hadnt told the story i would have got "so you got beaten up then" remarks.
