By the way, in case you aren't familiar with the local roadside furniture, there are speed cameras on the 'upper' seafront road both sides of the pier, and also on the A23 by Preston Park on the way into town before you reach the one-way system. One of these is hidden craftily behind a tree.

Cheers Jerry.
Camera heaven huh?
BTW - anyone know of a good parking place for us all when we're there? I know the sea front tends to get a wee bit busy (for obvious reasons, pls mail me kim_rb5@hotmail.com).

Sorry, can't make it now. After events in America yesterday UEFA have cancelled all Champions league and UEFA cup games this week. Consequently Chelsea are now playing at home next Thursday in the UEFA cup, and our league game at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday 22nd has been put back a day to the 23rd. Muggins here has a season ticket so will now be at the Bridge on the 23rd.

Sounds good - in which case, we'll need to set off from Bracknell around 9:15 to make it for the meet at the services as it takes a little longer than motorwaying (new word I've just made up ) it all the way........
In which case shall we say to meet at the BP garage on the A322 (just after the Sports Centre roundabout and before the Sainsbury's turning) as that one is on the right side of the road for heading to G'ford. It will take about 1 hour by back roads to the services so if we can aim to leave at 9:15 or as near to then as poss that should be cool.
What do you think?
Cheers
