Maybe but i dont remember Samuel boasting about what a junkie he is and what a junkie his girlfriend is and how many times he has been in rehab etc. Pete is genuinely proud to be a junkie and if he wasnt a musician most people who support him wouldnt pee on him if he was on fire. He would be another smack head scum bag. Just because he makes records (and in my opinion rather crap ones) doesnt alter my and many other peoples view of him

I cannot believe people are actually sticking up for this guy, surely the reason that people dislike the **** so much is for two reasons

a. His inability to sing in tune or on key

b. The fact that he is a great role model - NOT!

Whilst I appreciate that many rock / pop stars and celebrities have one downfall or another this guy is so blatant it beggars belief!

I have heard his new single many times whilst out and about in the car and it sounds well "polished", shame that he has not got the ability to sing live which is the true measure of any group or solo artist. Lets face it how many teeny groups bring out a single that sounds good i.e. in tune etc (if you like that sort of thing) when played back via CD or whatever formatt, however listen to them live and they can hardly string a note together let alone stay in key. The wonders of a studio recording, dubbing and techno wizadry mean that idiots like Mr Doherty will continue to grace the charts, will they have a long and fruitful career - somehow I doubt it.

no i dont care what his music is like, that has nothing to do with this arguement.
I couldnt care less if his music was great and he was a really talented individual (which it and he isnt BTW) , the point is he is a **** full stop.
he thinks he's talented and something special, if he has any talent he is pissing it away and as far as I care, he justs needs a good slap

To say that i dont like him becuase i dont like his music is wrong, I dont like him because he is a sad pathetic excuse for an individual.

I never said you care what his music is like, your doing that... I never disagreed with your opinion that hes a ****, I cant argue that can I. And btw, what argument is this because the topic starter never started of a debate on anything in particular thing, just made a comment.
