Can you not post his new name - a search on ebay is coming up with nothing but the official version (yours!)....

I'd like to send him a nicely worded email....

couldnt it just be a legitimate copy of the calender, as he is saying that he cannot send it until the 3rd week of december? if its his copy that he has paid for I personally cannot see an issue with him selling it? as someone above suggested it may be worthwhilst buying it and you selling it at the same price as your auction ends at for the fund.

all imho

yes its his personal copy and he is free to sell it.
my beef is this chap knew the Elliemay calendars were going to be auctioned, but he put his up in advance, therefore 'stealing' a buyer from the charity calendars.

Myself, other mods and organisers from p1woc and the print company have all emailed him and he has not had the decency to reply

he doesnt have a calendar, and he wont get one till all the auction calendars have gone. thats if he gets one at all.

if he does and he sells it, i will find out who he is anyway then for sure

Shaggy, it is a legitimate copy of the calender.

The issue really is that the members of the club P1WOC which is quite small decided to produce a calender, so we all supplied photo's of our cars etc.

3 or 4 of the members put a shed load of work in to organise it etc (you can imagine the hassle of getting it sorted)

No one is making any money from them it was simply a product/keepsake for the members, If the seller didnt want it he could have offered it to newer members of P1WOC whom missed the closing date.
But then to put it on e-bay when we all know that the club intend to try to raise some money for a good cause buy auctioning some, is not breaking any rules/laws but is pretty low.

And make no mistake the seller has been informed by several people of the charity auctions.

c'mon guys, only bid if you're serious and willing to pay the winning amount.

might be an idea (if mark has the time) to check the validity of the ebay bidders? heard a few big ebay charity auctions getting mucked up by non paying bidders/arseholes with nothing better to do with their time.

maybe bidders could PM mark on here with their ebay names so we can weed out the timewasters?

would be such a shame for ellie to miss out

have added this onto south west scoobies , very good cause

our 20 month old did a sponsored toddle waddle for the meningitus trust , she raised £120 for such a worthy cause .

anything we can do to help give us a shout

thanks scrappy and Gordon,

Guys, this chap is a bulb of the highest order, but there is ways and means and i can assure you they are all being used.

dont want this to divert from the real meaning of this whole thing. get youself on the ebay link and the link to the Ellie May site and if you dont have a tear in your eye and a willingness to help/bid then you are a harder man than i.

All posts above i have noted, cant answer them now (at work)

I was suprised at the retracted bids as well.

Thank you very much Paul, and thank you even more for the bid

time to come clean. This is going so well that i think i should be forthcoming with the calendars i have.

I have 20 in total. the current auction is for 6, i am going to auction 6 more in the same way, and then the remaining 8 on single auctions with varying buy it now prices. these will all be ongoing by the end of this weekend.

I think this is the fairest way.even though obviously the plan is to raise as much possible, i really would not want people to feel aggrieved in any way. appologies if thats offended anyone - my motives are greed but channelled in the right direction.

I have recieved a few mails questioning my motives. i am a moderator over on p1woc. a few people (including Gordon-Ellie Mays great uncle who i have spoke with before the ebay add) who have posted on this thread know me from P1woc. I can guarantee that all the postage and ebay fees i will pay. every penny you donate will help Ellie May. If you have bid on a calendar, and you need proof of this, or of how many calendars i have, money i pay into Ellie May's fund etc., just ask me when the auctions have finished and i will gladly provide it.

PLEASE PLEASE keep the bidding going guys, if you dont have much spare cash around at the mo, keep your eyes out for the buy it nows. if you do have some cash, keep bidding on the auctions for 6!!!!

3 people have now cancelled bids with the 'entered wrong amount' facade.

What is this all about???!! Are you a bunch of whimps or what. You let some guy who is as hard as his dick is right now intimidate you out of putting a bid in for a good cause! You lot need to get down to west wales and see what REAL HARDNESS is all about!

welshman!

here is a copy and paste of a message i recieved after questioning one of the bid retractees. i know another hasc recieved a similiar message.

"hi mate, yes i have been contacted by a user (p1scoob555) that this charity auction is in fact a scam?? Better safe than sorry. My wife had been very touched by Ellie May condition and we both agreed to donate though her site instead. The user in question had said he will wait to the end and outbid everyone to save others from contributing to this scam. Sir, im not saying that you are a scam as its a very strong word against yourself but I am sorry if you are trying to steal contributions for your own profit. Hope you have the decent conscience and not a charity robber. (name deleted)"

First of all, people feel free to donate through the Ellie May site.
secondly, he wont ruin the auction. the top genuine bidders will recieve a calendar irrespective. the guys with proxy bids in that are forced up falsely if he does this, we will discuss and adjust your payment accordingly.
thirdly, i swear on my daughters life this is no scam. Gordon (p1woc relative of Ellie May) will vouch for me as will others who know me.
Lastly. This man is lowly. Actions are underway to find out his identity simply to ban him from P1 woc. If you find out yourself first and you get hold of him, give him a good slap from me.

As Mark says I am Ellie's relative and can assure everybody that this is not a scam. You can pm me and ask me anything you want to about Ellie and this auction. Mark and the others involved in getting our calendars designed & printed have worked bl@@dy hard and the printers have run a special 20 free of charge for us to auction.

The person who had the 2 calendars up for auction is a low life scum. He only had to take his calendars off until Ellie's had been sold and then he could have put his back on. Instead he has now decided to rubbish our efforts to raise money for a worthy cause. I only hope that he has to have his arms & legs cut off.

This guy hasn't even got any calendars to sell.

Gordon

all 20 calendars now on ebay.

6 in the first auction here -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE%3AIT&rd=1

6 in the second auction here, with some wording changed and warning about people accusing me of being a scammer here -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8020899711

the remaining 8 calendars will be offered to the 8 people with the highest bids of the two combined auctions. if they dont want it, i will try the 9th highest etc.

someone fancy getting the second auction started???????
