The wonderful "Agenda for change" what a soundbite ! This is in reality no worse than many private sector pay packages, with employees at the top of their pay scale receiving no cost of living pay increases for years at a time.

It beggars belief when you see hospital financial reports breaking down their over spend with items like the "cleanliness initiative", "security" and "provisions for interpreting services" ......
