As on Tesco thread. I find that Sainsburys SUL is most consistent around Basingstoke over Optimax, BP Ultimate & Tesco 99.
I put this down to how long it is in the ground & it has lost its juice.
Having read that Sainsburys is BP Ultimate, convinces me even more.
I simply refuse to pay the price that BP charges, for a fuel that feels inferior.
Obviously a lot of people feel the same.

Theres a Tesco in Leeds that has it by all accounts; I dont know when itll arrive at the Abbeydale store though. As Ive said before Ive used Sainsbury SUL in my JDM 'Wagon but they have a smaller turbo with lower boost so its quite different to a Saloon. Ive also driven like an old lady because the car in question hasnt been registered in the UK yet.

"Sainsburys is BP Ultimate", when did this happen? Where's the proof. Who's in the know? Sainsbury's SUL has been around for years before BP Ultimate. I alway thought Sainsbury's SUL was UL with cheap additives to boost the octane rating unlike Optimax which is produced to 97/8 in the refinary.

Can anyone clarify?

Oh dear ...... I seem to have touched a nerve there - you have just realised that you are wasting £3 a tank? what a wally you really are!

That £3 difference is over 225miles, lets say you do 12,000miles a year, thats 54 x £3 = £162!!!

A years FREE TAX!!! Are you saying that you would tell New Labour to **** themselves of they said you could have free car tax??

I think the above proves, beyond all doubt, that YOU are the Numptie!!

Har Har Har Har!! What a wan*er

There's a list of stations here (maybe not that reliable though): http://www.greenergy.com/products/99...locations.html

Not wasting it. It is just "horses for courses" or whatever the saying is. You use the petrol for what you want, and i do the same.
I didnt buy a Scooby to drive it slowly and boringly. Apart from spending most of my time underneath Notts Spec's cameras, i do like a good drive when i get chance.
It would be worth a test on that Tesco stuff though i suppose, but that aint this far up yet, it is all down south from what i see.
As for the monetary issue, i really dont give a **** about that, i have enough spare to cover it!

Not that I like to agree with the colostomy bag but it is quite a valid point
