My mate has just fitted these to his WRX and they are really good. Make sure you order the H4 bi xenon as these have a flash mechanism which allow you lights to flash. In America they have 2 different types of H4. One has no flasher.

For Me it has to be the Morettes, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/kevy1975/10.jpg

They make the Car look much more aggressive & remove the Early KIA like Looks & the Awful Down dated Granada Lines http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/police1.jpg

Your car would look much better with STi headlights, those might look aggressive but they also look like you picked them up in Halfords.

Stunning car Dean. They look great in white. The morettes do suit yours down to the ground, but then you have the additional body work to set them off properly. Don't agree with the Granda comparison though! They are lot's of cars with circular style headlights now and you could draw comparison with any of them really. Bug-eye Scoobs aint that bad looking cars and who buy's an Impreza to win beauty contests anyway.

Well said Ben. They're not known for their looks just cause of what they do. Dean your car does look well smart but as i've just got the WRX it may look a bit Max Power with Morettes. I've seen them on a silver like mine and they don't seem to work as well.

No , they don't look any where near as bad as the Granada, It's my warped Humour, Thats why i used a Porky Car. You are correct, you don't buy an Impreza for it's looks, It's for the Drive & the Bugeye does drive really well, & is a hell of a lot of car for reasonable money.
So up to The Bugeye.

How much would it cost me to convert them to HID and where would i get the kit from?
One place to get aftermarket kit from is www.autolamps-online.com - that's where my stuff came from

For the STi lamps, you need H1 bulb kits for the dip beam AFAIR and then you've to choose between 4200K or 6100K bulbs - 6100K are bluer to look at (more like german car variants) but less light output than the 4200K bulbs.

Let me make some enquiries about bits and pieces as mine could now be up for sale if a few things work out...

I changed car earlier in the year so the lamps don't fit this one but I had plans for some of the HID bits... If I can get a setup that fits my new one then the whole lot could be available (lamps, HID and working levelling system )

Hi Andy

Would this be for the STI lights with HID. Could you PM me with a price if you selling them I'd be interested in them.

My mate had the conversion kit but said he didn't get the distance with the beam. How are yours? Apparently you need the projector for them to work properly. Are you using standard lights?

I have Sti lights which have the projector beam pattern and the distance is spot on.....I have had to lower the beam a touch on the height adjuster as the beam is so good!!!

Got ya. Yep the Sti lights would sort it out. My mate just has the standard bug eye headlamps. I've got them gas bulbs for £10 not bad but I had a 182 clio before with Xenons standard and the difference is amazing. I've been looking for Sti lights for ages and can't find any anywhere!!
