Mansell- How Fast????

To be honest I would expect cutting cornes in the leana (sp?) to be a fairly high risk strategy. No Ltd Slip diff - so all the time the front is in the air/on the grass you're losing power.
I thought it was a great lap. Nigel + Red Mist alwyas made for some spectacular 1-off laps. Consistency was the thing he lacked. (compared to Prost or Senna)
I know people here all believe they're gods gift to driving - but you simply dont win both F1 and indy championships by luck. I used to love watching Nigel drive (even it means listening to him afterwards).
More importantly - what was the actual time diff between Jeremy and Hammond/May arriving at the tower. Cant imagine the current tower owners like it being referred to as the natwest tower so often

Good to see the old boy back and still on form, although he's not as dull in real life as he comes across on telly. I don't understand the remarks about his lack of moustache though - he hacked that off years ago.

Don't quite understand why you say he was not consistent. He is not a natural driver but he just got hold of the car and made it do what he wanted it to.
He was at his most impressive when he was behind and managed to catch up through pure determination.
One of our great drivers and well deserved the success that he achieved.
Who cares how he talks anyway, I understand him well enough!

Looks like Beanie without the airbags. From the look on her face that bloke with the glasses might be feeling her ham sandwich.

But it would be just like watching the film Titanic for the first time, you still know what happens at the end
