Firstly, Simon and myself apologise for the lack of communication about what has been going on, but I have now made an announcement thread across all forums explaining the situation.
The task we are presently completing is of a massive magnitude and is only being done to increase site performance. As you can imagine when updating, software, hardware and general setup it all takes time and in the interim things tend to go wrong or facilities drop off (how many of you have been in this situation when JUST updating an OS on your PC).
As has been explained before, ONCE the hardware, software and OS is stable and all updated we will then back track through things that have been turned off or overwritten and put the site back to the way it was. At the moment, it is more important that the site is functional and running tbh.
The new software gives us all sorts of extra features, so not only will we be looking at increased performance (which has already happened) we will also be looking at adding MORE things for you guys.
Please be patient..... as Rome was not built in a day!
Regards,
Shaun.
