Aaron, bit difficult to understand your description to be honest. Unusual place for anything cancerous though. As far as I can go with an online diagnoses. All painful lumps should be shown to your GP ASAP though to be sure.

Good luck
Deep

I've heard that tinted highlights can cause neck lumps. You don't have those by any chance do you?

Dude, go to the doctors!

I had a small lump (although not painful) not a million miles away (neck, just under ear) and it turned out to be a type of cancer (Hodgkins).

I would always recommend seeking advice!

Developed yesterday a small painful lump in my left ear right at the back of the ear where it joins my neck.
Gives me a bit of a head ache and hurts a bit.
Above bottom of ear lobe.
Any ideas??
Ta.
Lumps always worry me.

He is seeking advice - some a bunch of weirdos on a performance car enthusiasts site.

Maybe Shaun should contact Tony Blair and tell him he can do NHS direct's job at a fraction of the cost
