It's a no-go for me unfortunately. I have my lad to keep occupied all day so will not be able to come along.

You could always bring him along, have you seen the number of scoobys that have come to a sticky end, most of them running standard brakes/suspension over the last couple of weeks.. Trust you had a wet xmas

Run is still going ahead. Personally I'm praying for a damp day. Sunny day means low temperatures and increased chance of snow and ice in Mid Wales. Rain is good, no cyclists or backpackers and reduced tyre wear.

Thumbs up Earlier Today...all ready for this??

Decided to go for a little recce this afternoon...the roads in Mid Wales were fine at about 3pm (as you can see on the Vid - much better than on our last run Gaz!!) mind you it did start snowing lightly about 3.30 and there is no white stuff in Neath.

Anyway can't wait for tomorrow so here are some of the best bits from today, weather was about perfect! So to get you in the mood as 2 Unlimited asked back in '84 much better than me..."y'all ready for this...??"

Forecast is 10 degrees C with light rain, compared to todays temp of 0 degrees it looks like it'll be a good driving day.

Mark, I've followed your lead an invested in a nice little camcorder and mount for some in car action.

See you all tomorrow.

That's great Mike! We should be able to get some great footage with 2 cams on the go.

I was out scouting good places for external/drive by shots today so I am happy to scoot off ahead tomorrow to get some good shots. Also experimenting with some picture in picture software to do a front and rear shot together. Happy to share film to get a great movie together.

See you at 9 sharp!!

Mark

Thumbs up

Nice run, sh*te wather. I think everyone appreciates AWD but no traction is not funny, had the odd bog roll moment though as did everyone. The decision to call off was defo right. See you at the RR, whenever it may be.

Well done msp1, first time the car has been to hills since the suspension was done, learned a lot from today, got split up on the last leg after coffee, got stuck behind a bus only to pass that and then got held up by a funeral cortege, so there my day ended, busy making notes of todays exploits.
