Thumbs up

Best of luck m8. As most of the threads have said proper legal advice is best. I had a instance a few years ago in a mates left hand drive porsche with the cops who followed us because of the lines he took then they p!$$ed off when they saw it was LHD. a shame as I was looking forward to a grilling then pointing out where the steering wheel was.

A note to Pslewis all the majority of TŁ$t's you see racing round your area are young kids with little corsa's and VTR's not sensible scooby drivers who enjoy the open road!

Nah, a speed limit is a speed limit ............ it is NOT a target!

Pete
Dual carriage way not a council estate. I don't recall seeing houses on a dual carriage way. Keep the original exhaust and won't keep people awake will you? Like you always stick 30mph. Yeah Right!!

Well said mate. Like I said theres safe places to put your foot down now and again. Not like chavs who race round town centres all night when its packed with drunk people. Thats careless. I'm far from irresponsible but now and again when I feel it safe to have a quick boot I do. Only when theres no cars or people about.

Just because you have a Scooby rather than a Corsa doesn't cut-it in my world ................ just means that you are a Chav with some money!!

NOT saying cookster is a CHAV .............. just illustrating a point that speeders should be caught and thrown to the wolves - you are a potential killer whether you drive a Scooby or a Corsa.

The mentallity is EXACTLY the same!

You can't kill anyone that isn't there apart from yourself. I'm not talking about stupid speeds or manouvers just 20mph over the limit. I've been done for drink driving and I put my hands up and admit it was stupid and I could of killed someone but I got banned and paid for my stupid decision to drive home one christmas eve but come on everyone who buys a new car shows there mates what a car can do. I know its wrong. I drive my car sensibly everyday but now and again you give it a little push to appreciate the power then carry on as normal.

There we go ............ it's illegal - but, it doesn't really matter!!

Where do you draw the line??

Stealing someones scooby is affecting other people whether they are insured or not. having a quick speed in a safe and quiet area where there are no people no roads where people can turn out of and a clear sight in front of you is not affecting no one. I know when it is safe to go fast. I wouldn't dream of stealing someones car!! Crap comparison!! I wouldn't race past a school!! Come on.!!

Seeing as you talk about breaking the law. Your threads put you on that level, for committing act of LIABLE as casting dispersions on peoples character can be classed as liable, if they take offence to it!!!!

The Police, Me and the general Public do NOT think you know!!

Hence the limit, hence you will get fined if you exceed it.

You do NOT know if a family will pull onto that empty motorway, on the way home for Xmas, at 3am ..... with their children asleep in the back .........

The children YOU will be murdering!!!!!

I would rather you steal cars!!

Anyone out driving with their kids at 3am is totally iresponsible, the police have warned about driving when tired. The parents should be fined heavily and the kids should be taken into care forthwith.

Yes i was speeding and am not disputing this fact, the speed "guestimated" was stupid though 90 in a 50, if this had been the case i would have been more worried about the wrath of kiddies mum more than police, i reckon realisticly i was doing about 70-75. Which i will hold my hands up to but not 90.

How much evidence do the police need for prooving speed as there was no speed gun etc, only a "police pilot speedometer" but i believe this was the speed recorded while catching me up..!

I quote for the brakes from the summons "On 14.07.2005 at 19.27 hrs the defendant used a subaru impreza EN02 *** on a12 Colchester Road. The vehicle was fitted with a braking system which was not maintained in good and efficient working order in that the brake pads were worn beyond servicable life (metal to metal), the nearside front pad was worn to greater excess than the offside front.

When they were changed both sides were worn evenly as well, FFS

This just seems like on big pi$$ take

Cookie
get subaru garage to write written report re your brakes and take that to court ,include a road test
