You guys have all got cars I would have wet myself over when i was looking to buy mine, in particular the P1, 22B, type R, sod it, all of them!!!!!
But, and this might make you laugh, I was looking at upgrading my 02 wrx to an 05 Sti PPP the other day, and I just could not bear the thought of selling or part exing my bug eye!!! (Cue laughter!!!)
For me (I voted WR1 by the way) my bug eye is quick enough (especially when I get PPP next year), I mean there aren't many cars that can beat you off the lights if you don't want them to, and it handles like its glued down, the noise of the exhaust is just immense, all the looks you get as you drive around town are quite satisfying, but it also is quite quirky, and maybe even a bit stealthy, especially since the de badge, so you don't get many of the corsa crew setting their sights on you, and if you do they are spots in your mirror quite soon!!!
Anyway, to get to the point, all these special editions, and STi's, while they are definitely the dog's danglies, i just LOVE my wrx!!!!!

I started a similar poll earlier in the year - it's here:
http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/poll.php?...lts&pollid=671
I can't understand why people on this new one are voting for the WR1 over the Type 25 - but I can see why you would vote for the 22B and the classics because it was probably those models that first drew their attention to Subaru.
Anyway, I've voted for the Type 25, here and with my cheque book!

all depends on what kinda driver u are, if you like a bit more of a challenge and a bit of sideways action then ud fall in love with an sti type r or ra whereas a normal sti would not do u justice ya know>?
i own an sti type r, and while i still have pushed it near its limits i still reckon its one of the best scoobs ever made, i love em all tho!

Justy,I think not.
Just commenting how 'impreza-centric' this site is .Thats
understandable as most have an impreza.
Just making a point about other models that are around & may even be considered better drivers cars than some of the mainstream models.
A car needn't be all about ultimate performance. Not to mention the styling ,which is a matter of personal taste.Believe it or not some people will still buy or judge a car based on the overall package & looks can be a big part of the equasion as can overall ride & handleing combination.
Just my opinion but the Impreza is not a 'pretty' car.
If Subaru good get their styling sorted they could have sold many more cars.
It's always been a great source of frustration for me that with the fantastic chassis, drivetrain, engine combo they have that they dropped the ball when it came to the packeging.
Why do they not make a small, beautiful 2 seater ,coupe/convertable sports model with the above attributes....now that would have been a world beater!

I'd voted for spec C and 22B but I'd love either the new S204 or V-Ltd ARAI

All the above are great cars so i have to base my decision purely on looks which means the 22b wins followed by the P1, im not keen on the cosmetics of the newer models however the spec c appears to offer the best all round performance. Oh im not sure which is best now, il go back to sleep.

however everybody checkout any pics you can find on the wrx type RA sti electra one
The rarest and most radical Subaru Impreza WRX yet seen is making its debut at Melbourne Motor Show on March 3.
The Impreza WRX type RA STi Electra One is a distinctive Subaru concept using sports car styling cues to create a bold new look for one of the world’s favourite performance cars.
Unveiled at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show, the Impreza WRX type RA STi Electra One draws on Subaru’s latest aerodynamic data to showcase fresh new features including a front air dam skirt and two-stage rear spoiler, for lower wind resistance and improved down force.
The unique-look four-door Impreza also has an intake duct on the roof, allowing fresh air into the cabin.
The design incorporates dual high density headlights for powerful illumination, and an overall two-tone STi-theme colour scheme.
Integrated sports sills and single tone rear light clusters also enhance the car’s powerful image.
Large diameter, high adhesion tyres combine with tough and extremely lightweight 18-inch magnesium and aluminium wheels to complete the sleek exterior style.
The strengthened braking system adds front 17-inch 4 POT and rear 16-inch 2 POT opposed ventilated discs, for powerful braking efficiency, highlighting Subaru’s reputation for superior handling and safety – underpinned by the unique All-Wheel Drive system.
Other departures from previous Impreza WRX concepts include a single, low pressure, large diameter sports exhaust pipe with stainless steel finish.
Both front and rear suspension include pillow ball upper mounts and struts which adjust vehicle height according to damping force. This produces outstanding street and race circuit handling.
The high quality finish carries through the car’s interior, with a black and gray leather finish on seats and door trim.
