At the end of the days guys, whichever car is 'better' is down to your own opinion and I would say that you really need to have owned and regularly driven the cars you think are inferior - I don't think you can give a very informed opinion from passenger rides or a few test drives.

I owned a P1 for 2 years and absolutely loved every minute of it. But now have an STI 5 Type RA V-Ltd and am liking it more and more each day. Whether it is better or not depends on what I want out of it. The P1 is better for long journeys and high-speed cruising and overall looks. The RA is a much more hardcore, track focused machine - which is what I want now - but didn't want 2 years ago when I got the P1.

The idea of the thread was to put down your opinion of the best looking scooby - yet it was you that started the whole p1 slaggin off toilet talk... If you dont understand the question maybe its best not to answer it you jackass.

As I said before I love most scoobs - the 22b used to be my favourite until I saw a pic of a p1 next to a 22b and the only thing the 22b had over the p1 was the big bulky arches, the p1 was so much smoother lookin, the front end of a p1 looks so much better than a 22b in my opinion, a type r again is cool but I prefer the p1 but I dont feel the need to come on here and diss your car, but that is all you type r owners ever seem to do - WHY DO YOU THINK YOU OR YOUR CARS ARE SO SPECIAL??? Get a grip guys at the end of the day its an import - who wants one of those?

Depends on what you mean by "best" really.
22B is the best for being that ultimate hand build scoob, rare and valuable, a future classic.
Then your looking at the S series cars (S201/202/203/204) which were/are the latest steps in development on the STi's, so theoretically they are the best, or you have the lightweight cars (STi type RA/STi Spec C/RA) which are probably the best drivers cars outside the S series ones.

To be fair though, I'd rather have the type R of similar year. As others have mentioned the DCCD is enough on it's own to swing it for me. Plus you've got the nasty orange rear lights on the P1.

22b with a more p1 style front end

put both 22b and P1 along side each other and for me the P1 looks miles better lol its just the front end of the 22b imo lets it down
