Basically your cat is doing no harm and if it was my cat he was threatening he'd could be hurt the next time he was out walking his dog in the park (the dog would be given a stroke and a couple of biscuits). The dog owner sounds like he doesn't like animals so he's a **** and shouldn't have his dog. As for you with the cat, you don't sound like you give a **** either so why post about it's welfare on here? Firstly get a cat flap if you like your cat. If you don't like your cat you're a **** for having one.
I would phone the police as it's the only way to warn the cretin next door off BEFORE something happens to the cat. Yes the police are useless but the only other alternative is to let him know what will happen if he doesn't chill out. But then what if he 'has you'. I don't know what he's like or what you're like. You're probably both pussies. Go to the police. I'd find it hard not to do something to your neigbour personally, but it sounds a little as if you deserve eachother, and that, as always, the animals are caught in the middle.
When will people realise that showing dis-regard for pets doesn't make them appear hard but in fact the complete opposite.
