Went to the doctors this morning, its got worse. Streaming and throbbing now. The doctor could see into my eye as its clouded over, he said something like exposure to uv light has triggered it. I still cant see so i have an emergency appointment with a specialist this afternoon.

UPDATE:
Just thought I would let people know that Marc has been admitted to hospital following his appointment with a specialist thisafternoon. They don't know for sure at this point what is wrong but think it may be pan uveitus (if you are interested it's probably easier to look up on the net than for me to try and explain using my limited knowledge!)
He's had 90mg of steriods and is now feeling very sorry for himself!! He has been told he will be in for at least 4 days for tests
I'll let you know if i hear anything interesting

Marc here! Still in hospital i might add, but i have my own room with tv and internet! So thought Id drop in! 2p a min mind!
So far Ive had 90mg of steroids from the night i was admitted and antibiotics.
Im currently taking eye drops hourly from 6am-midnight, so long days at the moment! And ointment before i go to bed.
Im seeing the specialists every morning, and occasionally in the afternoon to have my eyes looked at, ive seen 13 people so far and none of them know whats wrong!
They asked me to have a hiv test just so they could rule it out. It came back ok by the way!
Ive had about 4 lots of blood taken for tests which all came back fine. and the eye swab thats been mentioned where they stuck swabs in my eye and cut it open, not a nice experience! No pain but very uncomftable!
Im now on a course of anabolic steroids, the type body builders use, to bring the swelling down. I also have to take another drug to counter balance the steroids.
Theyve just told me theyre knocking my drops down to 6 times a day, Im seeing a specialist this afternoon to see about when i can go home.
Ive managed to read the de vinchi code in less than 2 days whilst in here, very good! I also read angels & demons too, although not as good. Also read jeremy clarksons book, his take on the world, forgotten title!
By the way, hospital foods pretty good! Theyre definatly spiling me!
hopefully be home at weekend!

I was discharged at 6:30 ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I have to take steroids and my other medication for 3 months though. Im not really aloud to go out either as the steroids leave me scepticle to illnesses etc. Im now an out patient and will have to go for check ups every week.

They dont know for sure, but they think it may be one of the symptoms of Herpes, that I may have got infected with whilst out in town etc. Theres many forms and symptoms and they said any germs in the air could of set a viral infection off in my eye. Thats not the definate cause but thats the best the could come up with! I dont have herpes btw!!!
