You will be able to see your car as it comes into frame at speed then brake sharply to go past the camera. seeing that you could guess that the car is driving above limit plus you have the error reading from the camera.

What if the driver simply wanted to test his brakes....?

I had a jammer(target lrc-100) in my impreza until i got my 350z, had it for two years and got it from a group buy on here run by Nevetas. saved my license around 5 times and still no visit from the filth.and it simply alarms you you have been targeted, then after 5 sec which gives you time to slow down,it switches off for 20 sec giving them time to get a second reading by which time you are safely doing the limit.
Come to think of it, i traded my WRX in and never told the garage that it was fitted, DOH!!!.
SOMEONE is scaremongering about visits etc, it was the size of a cigarette lighter FFS.
mac.

I thought they could see the jammer working on the video as it lights up when jamming the laser gun?
i think there was a short video clip running on a speed trap web site a while back showing this.
I am sure that some body on here who has taken advatage of a jammer testing session will be able to advise us.

With regards to the calculation of speed via dip angle... What if you had after-market stiff suspension... lol Not a chance then..
I remember some guy getting done in South Wales who kept driving past the vans at rediculous speeds...Eventually they had enough and found him... Got done for perverting the course of justice...

I hear there's a new one out called the Pro park or something like that. Essentially is a parking sensor which 'coincidentally' happens to jam laser. According to a review I read - can't remember url - it even worked against police using 'stealth' mode.
So no need for electric gates or garage!

They can find the device on the car by zooming into the image. Once they have found it they may come round to your house and you will then have to explain where your remote garge door is!
They can even see it behind grills, when i was there some bloke in a X5 was about to get done and you see the device behind the grill.

They can also have a guess at the speed you were doing from the angle of the front of your car, ie how close to the ground the front is compared to the rear, showing that you were braking heavy.
No one has been convicted thus far for perverting the course of justice etc- although they have tried.

Couple of things to add here...
I have only heard of one person being done for using the jammers. Going thru a town centre there was a van that couldnt get a speed lock on a car so traced up the car and the bobbies paid a visit. The bloke had to remove the system there and then or the car would be 'removed'. Cant find the link to the Piepoo story or the BBC site at the mo.
For the amount of laser jammers that have been sold on here - I have never heard of anyone in this site being done.
When buying a Blinder, avoid the M-06 becuase they are so outdated and only emit infra red light all of the time, the M-10 twin is better becuase it activates when hit by a laser then turns off again like the LRC100 and other models.

As others have said, a few other considerations would be taken into account. Every car is different, the wear of the brakes (brand new, bit worn, very worn), how hard the person hit the pedal, how much strength they pushed, how fast or slow they pushed it, how much weight in the front, how much weight in the back, how old are the front shocks..... and so I go on.
Such a crazy thing to say it's irrelevant. The car could be going 60 in a 60, see the camera van, slowly apply the brakes, get closer, get scared, hit the brakes and then accelerate. A dip in the front of the car tells you all that?

There must be loads of errors that are genuine errors and for the life in me I cant see the police visiting all the cars registered addresses for the chance of a £60 fine and if so as anyone had a visit?
