I'd be proud if my son put the stickers on, but unfortunately they were already done!

It's all a bit of fun don't you agree? This is my long lost boy racer that I didn't get the chance to have when I was younger, due to having a family, and of course the dreaded insurance!!

I'm 27 now, and feel a little selfconscious driving my 'boy-racer', but I am having a lot more fun than mr regular family man in his company vectra etc.

I've always hated cars that look the same, and have a particular discust for the majority of overpriced rubbish that the uk car market is full of!

Once I'm bored of the subaru (more likely when it goes wrong!!!), then I plan to join the skyline owners club, after that I may tend towards the prestige bracket (fond of jags, bm's, and mercedes), but saying that my lust for an old yank may prevail!

Basically b0ll0x to what the pretentious of you think, everyone should enjoy their motors, whether others agree or not!!!

I would loose them lights, get some bigger rims and maybe a big rear wing. Graphics look ok though.

Ignore some of the comments in this post, some of them are totally out of order.

the first thing you say in your post is "tell me what you think"

I think it looks horrible. I dont mind the graphics per se, but i do hate the colours. The blue mica with yellow graphics looks very rally replica ish, and has an obvious visual recognition with the rally car

this doesnt. And the wheels need to be bigger, and preferably not white

but fair to you if this is what you like. Enjoy it

after all, its your car, not ours.

sorry mate, but i've got too agree with most here.if i had bought that car the stickers would definetly come off. the wheels would probably stay, maybe paint them black or something until i could get some better wheels. definetly lose the lights.
two other things.
1. you asked for peoples opinions, you got them.
2. just because people may look at you as you drive by may make your car a head turner, but it could/probably is a headturner for all the wrong reasons.unfortunately a common mistake.

Just because the guy asked for opinions, people dont have to ***** about it and resort to insults.
A simple "I dont like" or "not my cup of tea" would do the job or just plain constuctive critasism. There are a lot of rude and arogant people on this site, who feel it is their right to belittle people.

Don't like it personally, but all is not lost.

What I (take note I said "I") would do is...

1. Re-fit normal or STI Rear lights.
2. Remove ALL stickers apart from the Prodrive one on the front bumper and what look like the Spike TV ones, cause I like them
3. Colour code the side skirts.
4. Leave the white wheels, they're fine imo, 17's would be an improvement though.
5. De-tango.
6. maybe an STI5/6 rear spoiler.

Fair comment (& thinks) Jdub, its ok though, Im' very down to earth. I wouldn't have thrown my pics to the dogs if I wasn't ready for the criticism.

One of the best comments so far is one from this morning by mightyyid, I get stereotyped a chav because of my car. Agreed though the car is a bit chavy, but it could be a lot worse!!

Luckily, the non-subaru enthusiasts out there aren't quite up to date with what is and what isn't cool on an impreza, so in most peoples eyes it just looks like a red rally car.

And if my car brightens a few school-kids days, that to me is more worthy than peeing off a few hardened subaru perfectionists!!

Fella - agree, there are many different levels of chav. Just 'not my cup of tea' as I have been told to quote, although you did ask for opinions. It;s a bit like me putting a picture up of my missus and asking for opinions - I'm bound to get shocked.

Nice you took it well though.... good man! Each to their own eh?
