Top day, thanks for coming and thanks to Carl for finding some interesting roads.

I thought I was doing well until I let Carl go at the front in the fog , are you sure on the quoted BHP?

Appologies for shooting off but needed to get back by 6pm (missed it by 11mins) otherwise I would have been a dead-man. Interesting trip home, including a female in a Peugeot TDi who made Carl look slow and Mr Plod on the bridge taking photos!!!!!

Till next time (and I did not mention Towyn)

(photos tomorrow)

Looked a good day out, shame about the weather. Sorry couldn't make it, only I am a sad Man City fan as well as a sad Subaru owner.

I tell no lies – Never under-estimate the power of the Classic
(especially with me behind the wheel !!!)

Thanks again to Dai. We both did a recce for this.
I hope you all enjoyed the roads we found.

Like the photos Andy – they capture the day nicely – especially Tywyn.
Did we mention we went to TYWYN

Passed a convoy of scoobs on the A483 just coming out of pant about 5:10pm (towards junction of the A5). The WR1 gave me a flash (ohh-er). Must have been you lot I guess. The blue blob-eye at the back of the convoy sounded quite loud to say the least.

Hope you had a good time.

I have only had the car for 2 weeks tomorrow. The exhaust was on the car when i bought it, I have the receipt for the remap and the exhaust the model is an EXMM001 from TSL and its description is a TSL Pulse extract cat system 76mm it cost £995 . It has euequal length headers so no flat four burble

I like the sound but I am getting worried that it is too noisey!!

PS sorry i didnot wave I only saw you at the last minute! I was too busy trying to catch steel up in his WR1!!

Andy – Your exhaust is loud, but don’t worry - not silly loud.
Its not that – it’s the fact that it sounds different - no burble, more of “crack” (not a good description by me - but it does remind me of a proper WRC car)
It must be down to your “equal length headers” that go with your “twin scroll turbo” !!

The video looks good. Especially where we left my mate by the road filming as we all drove off into the distance and back again!

Only problem is finding time to edit 3 hours of video......................and finding suitable death metal sound tracks!

Might hunt out the Topgun Soundtrack!!!!!

Some of the best roads i've ever driven today! Can't wait to do it in the dry.

And by coincidence - if you read Chris’s “my new car” thread he bought his new flaps off Ministry Maniac. If he’d not gone to Towyn you’d have seen your old flaps going past you too Ministry!!!!
Really sorry Chris no more now.

Dan, our welsh trips are definatly not "family friendly" and hopefully never will be. It has always been our intention to have the welsh run as a weekend away from the family, a proper "escape" weekend. There's plenty of stuff in the year to bring the partner and kids on, but not the welsh run.
