That said I'm contemplating a front mount intercooler and TD05 upgrade to mine

have you told your missis yet lofty

Just for comparison, I was just offered (two days ago) £5,850 for my standard MY00 with 38k on the clock. It is a silver UK car with full UK history but otherwise very similar to this one.
This was from a main dealer in exchange for a heavily discounted new Legacy (ie less than the What Car target price) so I don't think that he was putting too much on the trade-in in lieu of discount. This was his opening offer - before any haggling.

The Glass's guide prices for my 38k car are as follows:

Trade-in average: £5,750
Trade-in excellent: £6,480
Retail price: £8,640

Good luck - it looks like a nice car but I agree with others here; don't modify it and put the oe dump valve back on. Every mod you make reduces its value.

Thanks Simon.

As I have said, it is worth what someone will pay for it. I have a guy coming to look at it today, so fingers crossed.

It is immaculate and I believe (imho) that it is the right car, in the best colour, with low mileage and a few sensible mods (ie the ones most people would want to change).

Thanks

Si
