STi Type R

Presuming you mean 4 door V5 and 6?

Given the choice (if you don't need 4 doors) then it's got to be the 2 door coupe.

James - 4 doors not an issue (no kids )

I love the look of the Type R (only owned 4 doors)

Richard

I have just bought an STI 5 Type RA V-Ltd

It has 4 doors of course (which wouldn't have been my preference) but I wanted the RA spec - light weight, short ratio box and quick steering rack. The one I got has been very well (and sensibly) modded to give about 360/350 and is set up very well for track work and will also be competing in a fair few sprints and hillclimbs this year.

I had a P1 previously and absolutely loved it but the RA is something else and it looks the part too... :

type r all day long,

two doors is the way forward, its nice to be a bit different, i have been to quite a few esc meets and mine is normally the only 3 door there.

colour is important too, saw mine (white) next to two blue ones and a grey one and it really stood out, only problem is that after not washing it for two weeks and a few motorway trips it look like it has just come off a muddy stage of the rac.

There are far fewer limited edition sti ra,s than sti type r,s in the country.

Considering there where only 1000 v5 wrc limited sti ra,s made and only a handfull have made it too the u.k.
