Hi Catmeat

The wagon stand is the first ever National Wagon meet being held at the Northern Big One or NBO read the info here ..http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=499194

The NBO is being organised by LordHarding and the vision of us both was to have all the Wagons on a club stand like you see for the P1's RB5's etc rather than seeing them hidden away at the back of a regional stand. It was about time the wagons stood up to be counted... ## Year of the Wagon ##

We hope to have all models and colours represented including the rarer models like the STI and the SA .. so your more than welcome post up or pm me if you are interested in showing your wagon on the club stand. We hope to get some exposure for the magazines, we have a logo designed, some stickers being printed, wagon stand tshirts for the day and flags for the stand.

Default Shiny Alloys wanted for NBO for Show N Shine

Would like to put the wagon forward for the show and shine, but our current wheels just won't do the business.

So, looking for some 17" wheels for about £200-300 and looking to sell mine, ideally would be STI 8/9 Gold ones to go with the theme, but anything considered at this point, must be immcaulate or pass for Show and Shine Standard.
Did have the money for a set of Rays or Tengs, but sadly the house purchase gobled that money so back to looking on ebay

Cheers

Blue STi 3 Wagon 335.5 bhp 333 ft lbs. standard ECU, turbo, injectors and air box. In Cars For Sale with spec.
Silver WRX 95 Wagon. Was 385-410 bhp 350 ft lbs plus, subject to what map and fuel. Just fitted STi heads and have a development programme. Want to try various things. It will produce big power by the end of the project.
STi 6 Wagon. Still 2 litre and when the development work is competed I expect to exceed 600 bhp.
These are in use daily.

I have another project car and engine build in hand but that is more long term and not on the road.

Ring me when you guys are close to Scotch corner and subject to being here, I will come down for a beer.

Welcome

Would be interested to hear how easy this was, was this a wagon or saloon STI Donor.

Now there's an idea ...New Age STI 8/9 engine in my Wagon Anyine now if a salon STI engine will drop straight in and plumbing sorted

These engine transplants are popular with the Dub's and Pugs, we had an Mi16 dropped into our 205, like **** of the proverbial

Question The next phase for the DIY STi8 Wagon

Having some serious debating going on in the smiles household on where to get next with the DIY STi8 Wagon now we have all the comestic illusion complete

Decision A - Figure out and cost how much to drop in a Saloon STi8/9 engine.. is it even feasible

Decision B - keep with the WRX engine and tune, but at end of day its still WRX under the hood

Decision C - Flog it and buy an STi7 Wagon and have to live with an ugly duckling

Decision D - Flog it and buy a Classic STi Wagon

If decision C or D, anybody know of any STi wagons up for sale and who wants to upgrade to a new age

Your two penneth appreciated on all the above

Best solution would be to listern to Harvey at the Banquet and his recomandations on a 600 BHP wagon :

then if the engine goes pop then you can to a STi transplant

Problem solved the northern Wagon way .

Question FAO Harvey - Project DIY STi 8 Wagon

Hi Harvey

What are your views on the feasability of dropping an STi 8/9 TypeUK Saloon engine into a UK MY04 WRX Wagon. Now I cant say I have ever seen that done yet, could be a first... is it even possible

Plus would need the extra stoppies at the front and rear off course, but thats not a big problem as would be a regular upgrade same as if tuned the WRX engine.

Much appreciated
