Smiles has dissapeared
Is he still locked in the trophey cabinet ?
has he been shot due to the T-Shirt dispute?
Has he been kidnapped by the Terzo division ?
Has his lovely wife had him committed ?
has he been savaged by his dogs ?
has he locked himself in the wagon boot ?
answers on a postcard please

It's four days since the last post on this once popular thread.
Is this the end for Scoobywagons???????????????????
Is there some secret plot to do away with the wonder of five doors????????
No worry !! (Sound of trumpets in the distance, becoming ever closer)
The 555 Wagon Squadron will soldier on regardless with enough madness for everyone !!!!!
(Choirs of angels join the crescendo as the sun peeps through dark skies, and a lonely Wagon, glinting in the streams of sunlight, resumes patrol across the highways and byways of Southern England)
Hurrah!!!
Where's my hankie?

Mannyfold - nice motor !!!
Ian - I ordered the replacement covers through Gatwick Subaru, about £60 for everything (including end pieces etc) I think. They are a standard part number. If you have difficulty, I will try and find the part numbers for you.
No-bars Trails - I like that ! Reminds me of another..........can't quite recall.........hmmmmm ?

Car will look lower in my opinion and jolly spiff !
Roof bar removal can be effected without tools.
If you call Subarman! A guide is available on www.eastsussexscoobies.co.uk
Click on the "Subarman" link. Episode 3 deals with roof bar removal.

The quadrant velocity is indeed compromised by roof bar removal. Indeed, by as much as 0.3% over a time factor of 7. We put this to Subarman when he was carrying out our modification. He went "Uh?" and said no more about it. Certainly during Squadron manoeuvres, we have found that the tilt when performing "the left scuff" (formation parking) can lead to oversight if you are not prepared for it.
We have found through extensive testing that the careful positioning of an elastic band across the rear seat headrests (when in an upright position) counters any ill effects, and looks quite nice too!

How do we know it's him, and not a Mitsubishi disguised as Smiles. I detect a faint accent in his post (1497). I think he should be scrutinised and balfooned until we are sure!!
Ha Ha!! (in Chinese accent) I will ask him questions only the real Smiles would know! (devilish laughter!!!)
When you were on ops training, you performed a synchronised double roll under the bridge where the big TV monitors were. Yes or no?
Had you just saluted the Sqn Ldr?.....and....Did you land upright with a chirrup of tyres???...........
What drink did you buy us all in the Officers Mess that night?
(If he gets any of these wrong, he ain't Smiles)
