Warning - LOTS of Pictures!!
Please Note: these pictures and thread is not aimed at finger pointing of anyone previously involved with this car, I would prefer if you would please keep any derrogataory views to yourself and not air any bitches in public on here. Please lets not lower this thread into a bitching and slating one, there are allready too many on SNet from many small minded people.
Wagoners Know better and can rise above it
Clutch pics later, but plate/ piece has signs of heat cracks, bearing also notchy and no grease left
Cambelt tensioners - have left the building, no hydraulic fluid left.
Not stripped heads yet for inspection
Pistons worn on the sides
ypu can push down on pistons about 5mm or more where bearings has collapsed - confirmed by lumps of metal in sump and swarf.
I feel like frying tonite
comparison
original was 'Exceedy stamped on it
thats fubar'd
Trails, you weren't wrong when you said my clutch was slipping
Shiny new replacements
In need of TLC
all ready for new paint
Next inthralling issue coming soon when we strip the heads and get the crank out

Some great advice being offered on here by sensible people (can't be - they are in the Squadron).
I would only add a couple of comments. I run 18s (Superleggeras) which are lighter than the 16s that were on before. Therefore I have improved steering feel (confirmed by other who have driven). This is coupled with Eibachs and standard springs. These seem to work really well when raising all the torque (330 lb ft) through a corner. When last at Brands Hatch the instructor who was with me commented on how smoothly the car was able to put down the power with the suspension set up I had, and how little it was affected going across wet kerbs, even with the balance of the car upset. Of course, this set up may not suit everybody, but it keeps things fairly neutral and in harmony. I also have the whiteline bushes and antiroll bar/anti lift kit which makes an amazing difference to handling, and is one of the most popular upgrades round our neck of the woods.
