I think i few replies on here were possibly because you are trying to imply it is because of the car instead of your driving.
when i bought my first scoob- a v2 sti with 280 bhp, i paid almost 10k for it, i remeber andy from dicksons saying to me, remeber these cars are not crash proof, in other words they can take you out quicker than a snipers bullet. 2weeks prior to a couple of thieving *******s stole a scoob from there garage and hit a cow doing 120 odds on the b roads,,needless to say both killed out right, so i dont beleive any car is ``un capable`` its the drivers shortcomings that cause accidents. I once had a track day with the instructor taking me out in a stock standard ford escort 1600 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could have bet my life the car was modded, infact it turned out i was a crap driver and the instructor made his driving even a standard car look awesome,,,always know your limits is my take on things,,,.

I had a go in one once, for a laugh.
Possibly not long enough to appreciate the finer points of the car. Of course the average Scoobynetter is far better placed to judge the ability of cars, than experienced motoring journalists. That's a well known fact...

"The ride over all types of surface is astonishingly good. On rough tracks and byways one can steer deliberately into the deepest potholes without producing any special disturbance in the gently undulating ride and without experiencing any appreciable shock through the steering.Road holding, steering accuracy and stability are exceptionally good and within its performance range there can hardly be a safer car. When turning sharply some body roll is noticeable and there is a sensation of the drive shafts tugging at the steering through the action of the universal joints, but these phenomena are not disagreeable at the speeds involved."

Post up the photos (a video would be a bonus too) of the accident, then perhaps Dave_A and Sticky can let us know how the accident happened
