Cheers Chris, we may have passed a number of cars on the way home, but we only passed where road conditions permitted and speed limits also permitted. No one mentioned speeds actuallly reached because we didnt want to be laughed at due to white Fiat Punto 5 door burning us off. I hope he isn't bragging about us being so slow on any Fiat forum . When I mentioned having to walk for 6 months, this was in shame due to the Punto.
So points taken anyway and I understand. Like I stated earlier I dont condone any driving which is deemed dangerous to drivers of other cars or there own cars to that matter.

Nor me
seriously though picture the scenario, we have a sprited run out one day, someone has a bump or worse a bad accident, i swear we would get slated and accused of racing or driving like *****!
Subaru's get a bad press as it is.
also it would not surpise me if the boys in blue watched the forums, picture this.... 'hey guv, got a Smacs meet this weekend lets set a mobile camera up along the route, bound to get a right result with these lot!!!' so really not in anyones interest to go bragging on forums, people have been nicked by admitting stuff on internet in forums in the past so be warned.
What i will say is the standard of driving down to the midlands was superb, despite getting baited by Chavtastic Escort and AX boys, we just let them carry on there merry way.
Just goes to show were not racer boys just old farts going through a mid-life crisis

Points taken, but we weren't racing anyway. We all remained in the order we left the meet in. The only person who wanted to race was the Punto that tried to take Warrens front end.
Any one remember the guy who videoed his car doing daft mph and got band due to posted link on net? Enough said.
Who told you about my farting as well????????

I think the thing is we have to be careful what we say on here, i'm the worst for getting carried away, and i'll admit in my younger days was a bit of a t*t with regards to my driving.
Oh and Andy - we are bobbing on a bit mate, although i'll admit it i'm not a day over 21

Totally agree, people take everything out of context and always think the worst of us all.
We are the Rottweillers of the car world. One bad incident and we are all bad.

Hi guys, one of the Stoke lot saying hello. It was really good to see you all on Sunday and you have some really cracking cars. The best bit of the run out for me was on the A50 when we went past you lot parked up in the layby. The kids in the back got all excited and were shouting "More scoobys".
Hope you all enjoyed the detour through the housing estate. We are used to them, it is a standing joke that skoosh always takes a detour (gets lost!).
Hope to see you all again soon.

Thanks Mrs WRX, is that you with the debs plate? Nice car if so The smacs in the layby were actually our lot who got lost and started off down the M6! We finally got them back though
Detours are our speciality too, as supertouring will tell you about getting 20 cars to turn around in a cul-de-sac one summers evening a few years ago, and my attempt at leading 40+ scoobs upto the nbo in 2004, and realising I was lost about 2 miles from the venue
Hope to see you all again soon,
Great turnout, and a good start to the years meets,
chris.
ps, if your location is cheshire, how come your not in the smacs

The detours are fun, it give a great story to tell.
My location is Cheshire, but I live in Crewe so it is only about 10 minutes from Stoke. Hopefully we will see you at the next one. It is abit touch and go for us as the clutch is really slipping. Got to save our pennies up for a new one! Cost a fortune dont they!
