Chris was a great bloke and like you say really knew his stuff. He will be sadly missed by many both in scooby world and in the focus world and many other people who were good friends with him. Our thoughts are with his family at this time. As soon as I know any more detials I will keep you all posted

I went to the same school as Chris and spoke to him on Scoobynet aswell. He was a smashing bloke and you couldn`t help but like him. My thoughts go out to his Family. I`am really gutted for your loss he was a star.

As others have said Chris was one of the nicest guys you could meet. It was Chris that welcomed me to the fold at my first nervous Scooby meet back in 1999 and he was a regular at Derby and Staffs meets.
Looking back at some of those pics of meets has really got me going
He will be very sadly missed, my condolences to his family

Absolutely shocking and sad news, ChrisP was probably one of the first guys that the Staffs Subaru Club ( SSC ) met in his home town of stone a few years ago.....he was without doubt the biggest petrolhead I think I'd ever met and the car info he knew was astounding.
On behalf of the SSC I'd like to pass on my heartfelt condolences to the people that he leaves behind.
R.I.P chris and the next derby run's for you mate.
Si.

Remember him posting on here back when I was a newbie... I even PM'd him for advice which he gave willingly.
Really shocked to hear of him passing.![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Rest in Peace Chris.
Cheers,
Grant

This is such a sad thing to read - I never met him, but discussed things with him a lot on here .................. I seem to remember that he always took me lightly, seemed very decent and honest.

Very sad news ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
As per Andrew Timmins, i met Chrisp at my first ever (spectating only for me) SIDC trackday at Donington back in 2000.
I didn't know anyone there, but Chris came up and said "who are you and what do you do", making me instantly feel at home and amongst friends. We chatted about digital cameras ('cos they were a new thing in those days) - he had a big Sony one that used floppy disks. Thus he was one of the first folks to create a web-site, and it brings a tear to my eyes to browse it again just now.
RIP Chris - who was softly spoken and a good 'un!

Very sad to hear of his passing. My condolences go to his family and friends.
