Very sad news. ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Although I didn't know him well, I remember meeting Chris a few times. I remember his excited conversation after a run out over the Peeks, and how he came across as such a friendly character. I got the impression he loved his car.
A sad loss to the community.

Terrible news. ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Chris was one of the most decent and genuine people i have ever met, back when the dono trackdays were a big Subaru thing in the early scoobynet days, Chris was always there with a smile, we always had a friendly chat.
I remember when he first bought his RA Limited and the joy he had in showing me around the car, it was imaculate. Every time we met the car was just the same, i dont know how he managed to keep it so mint.
It was always fun waiting to see Chris post about the power/weight of his RA on some of the threads, you knew it was coming, it was just a matter of time until he spotted an oportunity, he had a lot of fun with that.
It's so sad i wont be able to look forward to seeing Chris at Dono, or one of the Subaru events in the future, he was a great guy, i will miss him being around.
My thoughts to Chris's Family and friends, he will be sorely missed.

spent a few drunken hours with chrisp in the (probably 1st) sn chat room, in the days of fake policemen and liars and cheats, shooting the ****, having a laugh and a joke.
rest in peace

He used to hang around in Scoobychat back then, along with ChrisB and ChrisL, which made life rather confusing. I think his icon was a beer thingy ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Very nice person, and the power to weight comments were hilarious.
R.I.P. Chris.

Chris's RA was one of the orginal 13 brought into the country by Prodrive but then considered superfluous and sold on as Prodrive turned favour toward the R shell.
Chris struck me as a nice fella and a real enthusiast - see ya Chris

Deeply Shocked to read this - I knew Chris both from the Stoke Scooby meets and from a 'shared' workplace.
My condolences to his family and his friends.

This is a very sad day, i have just found out of Chris`s passing away.
Chris was one of the first SN members i met, quite a few years ago now, when i used to post as WALKER. I had arranged a midlands meet, and Chris turned up in his red Scoobs, he really was a larger than life character, always had time for conversation and always wore a smile upon his face.
Although i no longer own scoobs, and do not get as involved as i used to, i shall remember Chris as being part of my Scooby chapter of my life.
My condolences go out to his family and my thoughts are with you.

Wow, what sad news.
Chris was one of the keenest Scooby enthusiasts I've ever met, one of the origninal SN crew.
I'll never forget taking him round Donno for the first time. He sweated so much he joked I should take him out more often so he'd lose a few pounds!!
Nothing but nice memories of him.

Very sorry to hear this. ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
As another member of the original SN days (previously Akira), I have very fond memories of Chris. I originally met him in 1999 at a Midlands meet and subsequentally at many trackdays/meets during my 3 years in Scoobs. His command of the digital camera has provided me with lasting memories of my 2 Imprezas (1 still on his website). I remember him proudly showing me round his RA (many of us had Type R's at the time) pointing out all the unique features. Lovely motor, Lovely guy.
It is apparent from reading this thread that he has continued as a much respected active member of the SN / SIDC communities, this in no way surprises me. TOP MAN!!! R.I.P.

Sheeet
Just seen this after reading a thread elsewhere on a different Subaru related loss.
Totally shocked. One of the first people that I spoke to at a Dono meet. Very friendly person and knowledgable too. Despite only knowing him through here and only speaking to him at Scoob meets, I really am quite gutted
