Chris surely was there right back at the very start - a regular at our meets in the midlands - a regular at all the trackdays the original scoobynet people went to. You couldn't meet a nicer more genuine person.
The last time I saw Chris was when I was invited to drive a car for somebody at at bruntingthrope (probably 2 years ago). He was as happy as always and it was great for us to think back to the mid/late 90's when we all first got into scoobs.
So many people on this thread I have not spoken to in ages and ages - I am sure you are all feeling the same way I am.
RIP Chris P.

My very first Scooby event I attended was the Staffordshire Treasure Hunt in 2002 which Tatiana and I travelled from Lancaster to attend. Though I never knew Chris prior to that or met him since, his larger than life character stood out and I still remember him in his Type RA long before I even knew what one was - it was also the first time I had seen anyone wearing racing gloves for road driving!
Rest in Peace Chris

I was there too (I was wearing my FFOC fleece, don't know if you saw us or not pwig), the place was absolutely packed out, there's obviously a lot of people whos lives he'd touched.
I spoke to his sister quite a lot and you could see that the good nature obviously runs in the family she was lovely.
The flowers were overwhelming, a Subaru made from blue and yellow flowers on the coffin with CHRISP and W4WRX in blue flowers with small yellow ones around the edges, and loads of other arrangements.
He'll be sadly missed, but we gave him a good send off

I would have loved to have been there to pay my last repsects, it sounds like it was a lovely send off especially with the arrangement for the coffin.
Chris was the one who came up with the user "Little Miss WRX" for me when I felt my previous username was too long winded.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
As the tribute video says, he's now looking after Burnsie's rally car.![Cool](images/smilies/cool.gif)
RIP Chris.

Dear me, just been reading these posts and also some on the FFOC site
I hope Chrisp finds the peace he truly deserves, it seems we have lost a very nice man.

Only met Chris once at a meet at The Plank and Leggit, Sawley, not long after I joined SN. Top bloke, sadly missed.

I had known Chris from the very very early days of Scoobynet and the SIDC, we always used to have a laugh about the Crayola special i had ! Met him at nearly all the Donno track days, and loads of other meets.
He really will be sorely missed !
