It has always been regarded, rightly in my view, that a teacher should never take advantage of his position to have any kind of intimate relations with a student.
Having been a teacher myself I understand how easy it might be for someone to use that position to strike up a close friendship with an impressionable student which then develops into a sexual relationship, and I have seen it happen too!
I think that this sort of behaviour is well beyond the pale and is a betrayal of the trust that is placed in a teacher both by the authorities and the student.
Anyone who commits such an act does not deserve the exalted position afforded to a teacher.
Allowing such people to become teachers is a lowering of standards which can only cause our general way of life to go even further down the tubes!

Any man over the age of 18 (this one was 30) who has sex with a girl under 18 but over 16 can still be done for endagering a minor, her parents could have had his *** in court. And just waiting till she was 16 is grooming of a minor even if he waited till she was 17 it would still be against the law!!!

When i was 18, almost 19 (15 years ago) i chatted up a girl in a gym class i was instructing - she looked 17/18 but was in fact 1 week from her 16th birthday.
