SCOOBY MAGAZINE :)

I've got nothing against anybody having their say, but I do believe that if you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything.
I understand what is involved in newsletters, magazines and newspapers - I've done them all.
I used to produce a 'quality' 8 page club newsletter in just one lunch-hour. That included writing and producing the layout too, all while eating my packed lunch. I'm not bragging, I'm clearly differentiating the amount of work required to produce a newsletter.
Anybody involved in a newsstand magazine knows the huge amount of man-hours that are involved and if anyone believes a newsletter is even a scratch on the surface, they are sorely misguided. Have a go... I'm sure you'd give up within a week.

As I said before Jon I'm totally with you on what you are saying. I think some of the comments made in this thread have been totally farsical and complete bollocks .... and in no way reflect the thoughts of 99.99% of your subsription holders.
Mag is the nads and you are both doing a fecking pukka job to get it to where it is right now.

another way of looking at it is, It's taken 3 months from when I took out the subscription to when i got my first copy (issue 8), so that makes it a quarterly magazine, so I've got 3 years of subs to go
This isn't a pop at Scooby Mag in the slightest, it's a great read, and everyone involved does a fantastic job!!

Have you written an artical for the NEWSLETTER recently?

Hey - if you guys want to issue a mag whenever you want then fine, but to take 12 issue subscriptions and then continually change issue dates is just utter c**p.
The posters who seemingly couldn't care less about the regularity of a magazine they subscribe to have clearly lost the plot ?!

Chill the **** out mate. They are a brand new operation and in their first year of producing the mag. All the issues they have experienced are what small production mags and other periodicals have experienced all over the word. So what if a few of the issues are late - they have valid reasons for it and they are on a learning curve.
If not getting a magasine on time is that important to you then I would suggest getting a life, because you clearly don't have one.
Fed up to my back teeth of seeing people like you post up and flame Scoobymag for having issues in the infancy of their business.

Secondly if you're not happy about it cancel your ******* subscription then, and quit moaning and trying to bring the mag down just because you haven't been getting the issues on time. The less people like you they have to respond to the more time they'll have to get on with things.

Nothing wrong with my first post - just saying it how it is.
I'm very chilled btw - i think you're the one in need of the chill pill
If you're "fed up to the back teeth" of people posting comments on a public forum about scoobymag lateness then:-
1.There must be a huge number of subscribers because according to you 99.99% are very happy!
2.Leave
I will continue to wait for my scoobymags - I just hope I still own a subaru when I get my last issue.

Re: point 1 - same morons who are complaining over and over again. Constantly bringing the subject up etc etc etc. I see a lot of small companies in the industry go bang partly because of comments made by mis-informed and generally retarded, jealous, tw@ts.
You obviousely don't know me, I am chilled all of the time! ...
