This is a relevant thread. It is a member posting about a fatal subaru impreza crash which he was in the vacinity of, and is near to his home.
This much you'd agree with I'm sure.
The people who then posted comments were simply saying things like "not good at all. Sympathy to his family."
This is a) discussion, and b) simply humanity.
Nobody said "this is a terrible sad loss, and my life will never be the same again", they were simply being human, and expressing well wishes to people who's lives they had just read about being destroyed.
So all in all. It was a relevant thread, and people posted on it, some of whom expressed well wishes to the deceased families.
At the top of this post I said "Hope you are well sir". Purely because I know you are a pragmatic person, I can say without concern you'll take offense that it wouldn't affect me in any way if you were well or not. I don't think about whether you are well, and my life would not be affected if you were indeed not well. But its just humanity and decency to wish well of people.
Get out of bed from the other side tomorrow.. just in-case!

I am well, thank you. Mrs D is not, however, particularly amused that in a vain attempt to appear more socially acceptable to some of the scoobynet membership I had to rudely awaken her at 6.00 am this morning

Different circumstances. But quite a different response, and it was a Subaru.

Anyway, for the record, it is very sad news for all concerned.
Have a good day everyone, and drive safely

Diablo i think you need to take a long hard look at your self, you are a self centred w***er!
Thanks to the rest of you that have expressed condolances, it is much appreciated, I wont waste too much time posting on here as it seems as if its not appreciated but Scott was my best friend and words really cannot sum up what a great loss this is to me personally and his family, especially his 8 month pregnant wife.
I would have posted sooner but understandable its been a very difficult time for us all this week. Scott was a member of this forum and regularly visited it for advice for his car and im sure he would like to thank everyone that has posted, he loved his car. Investigations are still under way into how this happened, no other cars were involved but it looks like he just lost control on what is a very tight left hander... a tragic accident
Everyone that knew scott was better for it and i thank him for that. rest in peace bro!

Steve it must make hard reading for you. It's always a terrible shock to lose a friend.
I may have missed it in an eariler post, with all the bitching going on i only half read most of them but what was his user name on here?

To be honest i cannot remember his username, if it comes back to me i'll post it on.
i'll be honest reading some of these posts have made my blood boil, some of these people have to take a good look at themselves

Steve - I don't want to labour the point, and I understand you have just lost a good mate, but.........I assume you know the road he was travelling on...and I don't remember a tight left hand corner on the road between Duston and Nobottle.....in fact there is just 2 fast S bends to contend with.

if your mate had 20 thousand posts to his name i would bet my bottom dollar the response would be different.
pretty **** poor to be honest.

Steve - if possible please pass on the condolances of 99% on here to his family and friends, and obviously yourself aswell.
Cannot begin to imagine what you are all going through, our thoughts are with you all.

A death is a death,if people want to express thier sadness at it, well thats up to them no one has the right say otherwise.
If it was some mugger doing over a pensioner then i would have no sympathy either,
BUT IT WASN'T, it was a chap that had an accident in his car,a Subaru, a Subaru driver from this community, people knew this guy personaly and over the internet.....
As for the comment "Jesus, here we go again.......
People die on the roads almost every day. Tragic, but a fact of life."
you were bang out of order for saying it.
My condolencies to wife, unborn child and all his family and friends.

My mechanic came to pick up my car this morning and complained about the road near Duston being closed again.
I said I hoped it was not another accident.
I then mentioned the scooby crash from last week. My mechanic said that the man was one of his customers and a very nice guy.
I hope there are no more accidents near this spot, very odd for another one to happen so soon

I expect Diablo couldn't give a sh*t about the Tsunami victims, London bombings etc, as he didn't know them.
There are plenty of people like him in this world, just ignore his comments and focus on the others in the Scoobynet "Communiity" who do care and can sympathise with your loss, without ever knowing the guy.
Condolences to all his family and friends.
