Tinting rear clusters
I'll post a pic of mine later when its daylight
Do not attempt to remove the clusters, the sealant is awesome! Just mask around the lense with edging / masking tape. For real sharp edges using edging tape only.
Better - get a proper sprayshop to do it quite cheap. That way no cockups and it'll be done in the warm. All you need is straight black gloss thinned right out and gunned on. A couple of very light coats and you are done. Should be as little as £50 as most shops have black knocking about and its a 10min job.
Do it yourself but you should warm the paint to room temp or more, and same for the lenses - use a hairdryer if you go down the aerosol route. However it tends to be a bit heavy and it's easy to overdo it. Coat wet on wet, allowing a minute to tack off... you should still see the red lenses undrneath when a couple of feet away. The reflectors have to work or it could fail MOT. Alternatively you'll have to then fit extra reflectors to the **** end
Steve.

Robbie T - I think there is 5 nuts? Maybe why yours are not coming off.
The painted metal bit below the light does come off with the cluster, the sealant is very sticky so might be that holding it on.
Make sure to re-seal them properly else you will find water in your boot!

i took my rear lights out last year & replaced them with LEXUS
& no want a change....
the lense/light are BOLTED & BLACK SEALENT one light came out/fell out with sealent still attached,
the other did i have trouble But it came out in the end. DO NOT TAKE IT OFF THE LIGHT,
as it will be needed when putting the light back in,
BE CAREFULL its very very STICKY
