The Omega pisses all over the Rolex
1970 will be made EVER. How many "Limited" edition Green subs are there now(will they ever stop making them!)
Still got a Daytona on order too though
I'd love a vintage non-symetrical Daytona but not enough to drop £50k on one ![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
RRH - I got a bit of a discount as i was buying Two watches and am a regular customer but list price is a cinema and Burger King trip short of £3k![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
The Alaska will compliment my Snoopy edition Speedmaster nicely

Ed, i have one of these, i bought it on Ebay too. You should be able to get a mint secondhand example for about £2,300 from a UK seller - i wouldn't entertain buying one from abroad personally. Making sure it's genuine is difficult, but obviously asking to see a picture of the certificate is one safeguard you can take. But i think it's the overall impression you get of the seller. Engage them in conversation, ask a few questions, but bear in mind, most people hate it when the authenticity of the watch is questioned, especially if you ask more than once.
But if you get one, you'll love it. The green and black looks fantastic together. It will keep time very well, much better than older Rolexes. The downside is that it will stop after quite a short time, less than 2 days definitely, even if it's fully manually wound up.
PM me if you have any other questions/concerns![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Products
My two subs (LV and black one) live in there when I'm not wearing them - looks great as well....
However, not cheap... unless you compare it with the price of the watches!

Part of the beauty of Rolex for me is that you can convert to cash pretty much instantly if required.
Enjoy

Yeah, normal Omegas, tags, Breitlings etc lose half their value as soon as you buy them which is quite annoying.
This is a limited edition of 1970 pieces and is already selling for £4k on Ebay....the Snoopy edition was Three times more numerous and they are now selling for £2500ish (retail was £1600) so i stand to make good money on them and certainly not lose any if i ever sell

watch came in 1996... first off they offered me the black face, i turned it down and wated a month or so toget the white face.

Sounds like nothing but Rolex collectors are extremely **** about such little variations. This version of the watch will end up being worth a lot more than the later kermit.

I bought this watch for the missus for our 2nd anniversary, although its a mans watch i would never wear it. It looks too girlie,it looks like a bracelet with the concealed clasp

GOLDSMITHS in Nottm had a DeepSea SeaDweller in stock the other week when i went in, as he said did i want to see it!
The concealed clasp is the new addition on the Jubilee braclet, think it came in on the 2006 models.
Looks good on the ladies watches but not sure on the mans... too girlie
