Well PSL I think thats pretty well proved then.

It is obvious that he is just not capable of answering the question that he asked me about the re entry angle of the Trident. Why ask the question if you cannot answer it. And why can't you answer it? Not very impressive for a man who claims to be a missile engineer!

We did not actually sling the WE 177 underneath the Vulcan by the way, that was reserved for ground attack aircraft. Why did you call it by the name for a modified Polaris missile anyway, if you designed it?

The only servicing I did on the Vulcan was what is required for all RAF aircrew, and that was to be able to do a "turnround" servicing for the aircraft we flew if you landed at a base which was not qualified to do it. I and my crew had to be qualified to refuel it and check and sign for the aircraft's serviceability to be able to be flown on another trip. If there was something wrong with it, they would send a man (engineer) to fix it.

You would not have known of that of course but you still persist in saying the opposite to the truth in typical NL manner which is to state what you know to be wrong even though you would like it to be true or to try to convince others that it is a fact.

I have a perfect right to request the answer to the question you asked me, especially since you asked it hoping to catch me out.

If you can't answer it why not say so instead of prevaricating and then we will all know where we stand. Then you can tell us what you really do for a living!

I gave a good approximation of what I estimated the re entry angle to be and how it might be affected according to the required range of the weapon and its missiles.

You on the other hand are unable to tell me whether I was right or not since you don't appear to be able to quote an angle even though you say you build them. I thought that the USA supplied the Trident anyway, perhap's you would like to clear that up for us. Without a "cut and paste"!

Since you appear not able to understand a post let me mention that I asked the guy for HIS definition of a ****. Bit too deep for you to understand the difference I think. He could not do it in fact!

You really have brought out the JCB on all this. the hole is getting deeper and you still cannot give an answer. Why is that?

Trust me on this, your coherent arguments are wasted on young Mr Lewis. No amount of reason will be heard, or accepted by him.

For a while, Pete was funny. Then the quality of his trolling fell away, to be overshadowed by the likes of Nacro.

Nowawdays, Pete's repetoir is rather limited and quite poor.

He will argue against it, of course, but someone who has been running with the same rather pathetic wind ups (gold wheels, blair, new labour) for some YEARS now, must have a rather sad little existance.

Unlike most, Pete has not developed his "art" There has been no evolution to his actings on the BBS.

I'm sure Pete is a decent enough bloke in reality, (if he actually exists) and he may even be a rocket engineer. The truth is unimportant, to be honest, although his need to have his vocation acknowledged by you smacks of desperation.

Unfortunately, while he used to be funny (and I can accept that even as one that rose to his wind ups in the past), he is now just acting like a ****** who feels he has something to prove.

Shame really...

Anyway, I will now expect the obligatory shallow insults from Pete, although who knows, he may prove me wrong on that front.

He will also probably hit back with the line that he's just on a wind up, and how sad are any of us to bite. Yet another of Pete's weak responses as he again attempts (and fails) to turn the position to his favour. Then again, who knows, he may prove me wrong on that front also.

Although with three times as many posts in a shorter timespan, it is clear for all to see who lives life and to see who spends his time trolling on bulletin boards, presumably with nothing better to do

However, sometimes my mood is such that very low level (and otherwise irrelevant) amusement is sufficient to fill in a few spare moments of an otherwise quite satisfying life

On those very few occasions (as the evidence will tell) when I really can't be arsed, such as now, I choose to lower my standards and "converse" at your level. It gives me a sense of amusement and that is all that really matters, to be honest.

You are right about one thing, of course Even acknowledging your existance, far less taking time to post about it, is really not worth anyones trouble and, If I was being brutally honest, the emply starbucks cup on my desk is exponentially more interesting than you, in so far as it has more than one side

Thanks for your accurate descriptions of PSL and his peculiarities, I had of course already worked that out for myself.

When a poor attempt at a troll feels he has to ask a question in an effort to catch someone out, it is only reasonable to expect him not only to be able to give an answer to the question but to actually do so especially if an answer was given by the person asked.

If he is unable to do so, and also tries to impress us all with "cut and paste" statements and even then to call a weapon by an incorrect name, especially when he has been telling us that he is an eminent nuclear weapons engineer at AWE, and when if he was then he would have been working on those particular weapons, then what are we to believe?

I am not a weapons engineer and neither was I in the Navy on submarines. I did give what reasonable answer I was able to work out for reentry angles for the reentry vehicles in the warhead through common sense. He is unable to say if I am right and what the answer that he was asking me for was anyway.

All his subsequent bluster indicates that he just does not know the answer. If he was just honest enough to admit it then that would be fine. Then he could tell us what his occupation really was or is and he could get back to some honest trolling.

Let me repeat what I said initially and that was that if Galloway has been able to collar so much cash from different sources, then maybe **** is an unfair description.

The accepted meaning of the other word you defined when applied to someone like him is probably a lot closer to the mark!

I have very little to do with that project .... I'll get called in once they start firing it in anger

It will replace the HELEN Laser facility, which I can see from my office too!!

The New High Energy Laser Facility (Project Orion) will eventually replace HELEN.
