Mind you, you had a good guess - for someone who serviced Vulcans it was a reasonable attempt ................................. I suppose you cannot help being the oily rag, whilst I am the Engineer??

32 what's? If it is degrees, is that from the vertical or horizontal? And would it be the same regardless of the required range to get to the targets. I am genuinely interested to know.
The only time I might have got a little oil on my flying gloves would have been during my pre-flight inspection of course. Otherwise it was a pretty clean job, albeit sometimes a bit sweaty doing some of the summer flying displays in the States. The sun used to be quite hot in places like Dayton. Cleveland, Toronto, London Ontario, Niagara etc. Used to get stood a few beers afterwards though. Better than working in an engineering office!

You keep saying green eyes??????????
It confuses me somewhat, you follow me around ScoobyNet like a puppy .... so, you can't see my eyes!
I can assure you, I have never wanted to service Vulcans, ever!!
And as for flying, I do that when I want in a Cessna ... thanks all the same

Yes I have flown Cessna's too, among the 29 other types and marks that I have also flown. Not quite in the Vulcan's class though, even the Tornado or the Lightning couldn't compare with that for overall impression even though they were also wonderful aircraft to fly.
I was hoping that you would clear up the question I asked though. Of course anyone can throw out a couple of figures and pretend that is the answer. You still have not convinced me that you actually know what you are talking about when it comes to nuclear weapons despite all your bluster, smoke and mirrors. The answer from the big computer in the "Galaxy" was 42 anyway!
Are you able to throw some light on what "Helen" and for that matter the modern version of "Project Orion" when it is completed, are actually used for? I'd be interested to know.

In general, the steeper the reentry angle, the more accurate the ballistic vehicle. However, the steeper the angle, the higher the temperature and G-loading encountered. The problem is to design a reentry vehicle that will not vaporize when reentering the earth's atmosphere and yet maintain the needed accuracy. So PS whats the angle and I tell you if correct ?

I think they're both BLUFFERS
Pete 'The rocket man' Lewis and Leslie 'Bomber Harris'
And if I'm wrong; Shame on those that gave them anything more risky to play with than a box of Fuzzy Felts.
FFS !

Now that I am back from the unplanned interruption I can answer a few things.
PSL
Yes of course you cannot tell us what is in the public domain, but I was hoping to hear it in your own words instead of a cut and paste or a gratuitous link. If you tell it in your own words it makes it sound as though you actually know what you are talking about PSL. Please tell me the full answer to the question that you asked me.
Thank you for your good wishes, very much appreciated. Glad to be back to hassle you again
Moray.
The Trident has an extendable nose probe which deflects the shockwaves from the nose cone and reduces the temperature to a usable figure. It therefore does not have to rely on an ablative surface covering.
coolangatta.
You have no idea what you are talking about or any basis for what you said. I should make sure of your facts before you get embarassingly involved.
If you want to accuse PSL or me of being bluffers, it does not help your case in admitting that you might be wrong in your final sentence!

time to dig through my system for some old audits and reviews, thank god i kept all my worky stuff
then its shoehorn it in to 10 mins.

SMILE!! without grinning .............
Do a search on their company and taylor the Audit as if you were looking at one of their latest products (that WILL earn BIG points!)
Only tell them what you can talk about at length ... while 'you' are talking in the Q&A section, they are NOT!!
Good luck mate!!
