I wasn't clear enough about presentations - keeping it clear and simple with regards to the media that you use ie powerpoint etc Good luck anyway and hope they don't use your audit methods without you!!!

Default Update

Just had the second interview with the first company (3rd choice on my list)

another 2 hour stint, went through the quality dept/ tour of the company/ and did a session with HR

interesting, after a call from the agency stating no movement on salary, and some other "tips"

it was very different when with HR

sallary fixed for 12 months, but.. and then the sweeteners were dropped in..

annual bonus, (a lot )
pension (ok but contrib )
bupa (ok but not free)
paid hols (good)

no ot but,,, hours over the week requirement will be given back as time in leu ie travelling etc.

and another block of hours coming back for some other stuff ()

and a reduction in the working hours if things go well

oh and the HR managers card, just call me direct if there any other questions

Should know by friday on that one

now to finish my presentation for tommorow, and chase the other one

hopefully you'll be able to choose who you want to work for rather than the other way around! Good luck for the next one!

Thumbs up You can thank Tony later

Excellent news! Hope you will be happy in whichever job you choose.

I'm glad that you are enjoying the booming economy under New Labour and not 10%+ unemployment that we saw under the Tories in years gone by - when I had the misfortune to be unemployed for a few weeks.

Had the 2nd interview yesterday (eek)

presentation to a panel of 4

q& a, from 2 senior buyers (good cop bad cop)

1/2 hour with the quality manager
1/2 hour with HR (personality profiling)

factory tour

and then more Q&a

got out 2 1/4 hrs later phew!!!

it has its pro,s and its cons,

not to sure but we'll have to wait and see...

Until this morning GRR

poxy agency hasseling me to make a desicion(sp)

do you want the job?? cos they may not offer if you dont,,,

I told him straight, untill they make me an offer how do i know,
i need to be in a position to turn them down, not turn them down, and find ive dipped out on both GRR

then he,s saying well push the other agency to find out if you have the other job..

really stating to get peed orf with them,,

Yes that must be annoying, and unfair as well. Stick with your own assessment of the situation and hopefully you will have the choice of either and take the best one.

I'm now thinking of going for another job ...... completely different to my current role - big risk, but could be a nice change?

Can't go into details ....
