I nearly killed one today.
I'm going down a single carriage way in the dark, 60 limit, stuck behind a couple of numpties doing 40.
Get to a bit where I can see a fair way, there'a few red sidelights way in the distance and nothing coming at all for at least half a mile, so I move out and floor it to overtake these lot.
Coming the other way is a cyclist wearing black, on a black bike with no lights and no front reflector. it was too late to abort the overtake by the time the tiny reflective logo on the side of his trainers was visible, so just had to not hit him.
He had a rear reflector so I could see that he didn't come off or anything but what a moron. I bet he's on some cycling forum now posting about some tosser in a Legacy on the wrong side of the road nearly knocked him off his bike.
