Try Live Local Search which, I think, is even better, is platform independent and does't require you to download anything...

That is REALLY old though. If I look at my house (which is 6 years old), it has the one that was knocked down!
For the UK, the Land Registry site (Land Registry : We guarantee the title to registered land in England and Wales and hold records for land ownership and interests.) has the highest resolution images (for free) that I can find.

Just downloaded GE and it is quite a bit clearer than LS for where we now live. I haven't looked at it on GE before so can't tell if it has improved!

You can go straight to the Property Search (here: Land Register Online : Map enquiry) and type in an address, postcode or area and then zoom from there.

That Land Registry one is really really old
Doesnt show my Garage, Conservatory, the mini roundabout at the top of the street, not the bungalow on the corner, or the industrial units across the way (been there at least 20 years or so)
