I guess they all depend where you live -- the Land Registry one shows the trampoline from a year ago in mine but, as I mentioned earlier, the Local live shows a building that was demolished 7 years ago.

I think it was just a random view in response to the poster who couldn't find anything to look at on the whole planet! He probably watched TV instead and found it fulfilling.

Actually, I have found Microsoft Virtual Earth to be better. It has very detailed images of seemingly everywhere. You can see my car on the drive on it, whereas in Google Earth, it's only high level stuff for most of the UK.
