Nobody should really be drinking cow's milk anyway. No other animal species drinks milk post weening, and million of people (including most Affro-Carrobeans (SP)) are intollerent to an extent.
Eating various solid foods is important for speech development, or so I'm told by the speech therapist assigned to my daughter. Unbelivably in my view they evey give under 2s junk like flavoured crisps, in development groups, to encourage their speech. I'm sure it works, but the NHS giving junk food to kids in the 21st Century?!!
I was surprised at the reaction when my wife breast fed in public (always discreetly). Most older women were fine, it was the younger ones who'd glare. Quite the reverse of what I'd expect.

So it's OK to suck your Mum's tit until your 18 months old, then you shouldn't be sucking any till you get to being a teenager, then it's fine to suck any tit except your those belonging to your immediate female familiy?

Ha ha, we've just been talking about this at work and me and another mum both said that it was "uncomfortable" and not something that we'd want to do. I don't care how natural it is, there is something very pre-historic about it. I certainly wouldn't want my daughter to be wopping me tit out that's for sure!
I am not anti-breastfeeding and will be doing it to my next child, but only for 6 months or so - or until they get really sharp teeth!
