The dealers all talk about the youngest people that buy these type of cars ... turns out you are quite notorious!! Think you made the right choice over the 360 Mod matey ... GT3 RS is a car you can thrash day in day out and it will hardly ever break. Ferrari you have to feather slightly - it's more dainty. My dealer said that the GT3 RS (his words not mine) is the Mike Tyson of the Hyper Car world.
Lovely motor matey.

The rear screen is a type of plastic, and the car has no traction control or any gadgets. It's PURE
It will hit 60 in about 4 seconds, going onto 100 in about 8.9 seconds. Top speed is about 190-195mph.
This is Porsche GB's old press car, so was given to all the TV companies and magazines, so it's a very famous car.
Production was limited to about 400 cars in the UK IIRC.
Porsche have put on loads of new parts, and prepped the car ready for sale, it's under full porsche warranty.
Ony thing I need to do is go on a very long driver training course!!

Yep it put me off at first, but Porsche GB have taken good care of it, replaced loads of bits, and given it a full warranty, so thought why not.
After all, ALL RS's have been tracked. So in some ways atleast I know its been looked after
It's done 14k miles which is high for this sort of car, hence a good price

these type of cars are virtually re-built by the overall holding company after their stints as press cars. You can pick up F430 press Ferraris for like 25 grand under the list. And they will have a brand new engine in them!
So basically it means nothing in terms of reliability that Steve's car was once the press car as I can pretty much bet it has had a new clutch, gearbox, brakes etc etc etc.
I personally like the white and blue combination but I would not turn down either if I had to make a choice at a dealership.
Don't listen to what people say about this not being a driveable daily car matey ... it is 100% of one. Just don't go fast in the wet
I think modena cars are having a private track day with some of the rally drivers at Silverstone. They teach you so much about how to handle these cars. Might be worth having a look at it.
One thing I will say is that when Steve took me out in the turbo he drove it very very well and I'm sure you'll do the same with the RS - so training prob isn't an absolute necessity!
