But the point he was making is correct - the pics nevetas has sprayed round the web purporting to be his car do not tie up.

Personally I'd have waited for some of my own before loading them to my own webspace and pasting them on half a dozen bbs.

The only person who looks like a bit of prat (imo) is someone who buys a GT3RS on a whim and doesnt even spot the pics a dealer sends him arent the car hes bought.

Nope you have misunderstood his post. The 2 pics I posted of my car (as shown below) are of my ACTUAL car, Porsche also included 1 interior pic, which is of a differant GT3RS. So the only pic that was wrong was the interior pic, and, as the interior is Identical to mine I was hardly to know! The guy on stuttgart 9 then posted a pic of a completely seperate car, with differant brakes? Not sure why?

So these 2 pics are the very car I'm picking up tomorrow.

http://www.nevetas.co.uk/albums/911G...62_1.sized.jpg

So that guy got it all very wrong.

Well I have a fair ammount of fairly high powered rear, front and all wheel drive cars experience so I may be able to help.
I would suggest a track day at Bedford as the sefest venue to practise "on the limit" car skills.
All you have to do is book a as another driver or passenger whatever.
I may need to do a few laps but it may not be necessary.
And no I`m not out to thrash your Porsche it just means you wont have to put up with some Palmer muppet telling you what to do whilst thrashing your car and making his ego even bigger than mine!!!!

Oh and no I dont do this for a living just keen to help you out if you fancy it.
It just miffs me a bit when you get folk actually paying for "so-called" professional driver traing.
I have always wondered how you become a professional!!

To be fair Porsche GB have inspected the car and given it a clean bill of health, and an extended warranty

So if your reading any mags or see top gear, and you see a white GT3 RS plate ending PPK thats mine

I take it you are one of his mates here to lend him some moral support?

Your final comment above is so laughable, it's untrue. So what if he bought it on a whim, and so what if in his excitement he posted the wrong pic?? THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME ANYWAY FFS!!!!

Go back and look at the tone and the intent in the original post:

So I dug around, I did a search on Porsche Approved for GT3's and bingo there is one for sale @ Mayfair OPC that has one of the pictures that Billy (as I will call him) has published as an interior shot of his own..
then look at the sheer effort he went to 'sourcing' the various photos with loving detail.

Thanks Edcase

I've checked the pics with the dealer and all the pics I posted were correct apart from just 1 pic of the cabin, which was sent by the dealer over email. It's exactly the same cabin anyway!

dsmith the guy could of just pm'ed me or emailed me first, or msn yahoo anything just to confirm I wasn't lyeing before he launched his attack!

I been a member here for 7 years, so this guy could of done more digging around, googled me etc etc first.
