Don't see the need for loads of cars on the stage, if we can all travel together.
wah, I can give you and your mate a lift over,
chris.

Great day today everyone, thanks to all that attended First time I've been to a rally for a long time, and I'm glad I went. It's so refreshing to be able to get close to the action these days, rather than the sterile atmosphere of circuit racing (see the btcc @ oulton in May for that )
That is a definate for the club to do again next year, but we'll be bringing a marque and caterers next time
I'll post pictures up in the smacs gallery later, and I even managed to get one of Mr. Scoobybabe
See you all thursday,
chris.

Hi all!!
It was quite warm at Pontins plenty of food and hot coffee Still, It didnt make up for my bad day.
By stage 16 they were doing really well, ranking 2nd in class and 31st overall out of 110 competitors, 17 in class!
There was a problem with what they thought was the clutch on saturday, SS 17 but thought this had been fixed this morning. They managed to crawl around Weeton before realising a more serious problem was to blame, the gearbox was kerplunked and lost 2nd & 3rd gear So needless to say, they had to retire
Gutted.
Hopefully the car will be fixed in time for my debut of the year at Angelsey next week. My fingers are crossed
Glad you all had a good day.......and Chris, re-size that picture!

Photos are up http://www.scoobysmacs.co.uk/gallery...lly+blackpool\
I want people to look at the site, so go there, and let me know what you think, I've not had chance to name them all properly yet, and hopefully wah will be doing a write up on the day.
