There's a wonderful book called Rude Food which I have for some ideas but Google didn't help on Brocolli.

Use Dulux "once"... its a quality paint available in different colours. I would choose magnolia.
Marinade in the paint for 2 days, and then lightly pan fry in petrol. Serve with mustard and goose poo with a diarohea jus.

Try those Broccoli Spears that they sell in packets in some supermarkets, they have a slifghtly different taste which is very pleasant and outstanding with a bit of butter.
